Why Blogging Is Better Than Facebooking

If you're a social outcast like me, then you are the one who stays home all time, or hangs out with himself. Now, if you don't hangout very often, you wont be able to update your status so often and then people will post once a year on your wall, 'Dude, are you alive?'. Well that's only when you have at least a couple of friends. Facebook is for those who are good at making friends, people who we call cool guys, they always get the girls.
Guys like me have nothing to share on Facebook, except than just staring at it, seeing some fun post from a fun page one liked. That makes things boring. But blogging on the other hand is something different. Here you share whatever you want to with people you don't know. Yes, you don't get any viewers for the first few months which is very frustrating and you wonder whether you should quit. But when one blogs for a reason, like earning some money or getting famous, when they are in desperate need of sharing to a lot of people which they normally cant through Facebook, they keep going on. My case is making money while having some like-minded readers who agree with what I read. I would share stories from my own experience and stories. Anyways, back to the topic, now you want to share your own experiences but don't have a lot of friends and don't really care about it so you don't update your status like feeling happy or feeling sad, you turn your feelings into a story and share with a broader audience instead of just Facebook friends who aren't real friends, some are mean, some are you don't even know too well, some you don't trust. So you blog about it. The point is, blogging really gives you a chance to write things down while at the same time, you can actually try and earn money, you can even find some like minded fellows through comments and then add them as friends in Facebook and kick out other selfish so called friends. Another thing is, through comments on blogs you can really know how others around the globe feel like you and they might share their thoughts with you, and those stories are most interesting than just normal Facebook crap where a girl breaks up with a guy and all that drama.
Through commenting you can actually learn that there are a lot of people like you who might not be your friends on Facebook but you get to know how people also feel in such situations.
If you want to see this from another perspective, you can say better writing skills. No matter how much you suck at it, it gets better eventually. Read weekly newspaper and write on the blog, and after six months you can view your progress from your first blog post to the latest. And believe me, the feeling of success you get, can't be expressed by words.
Along with a better English, you can always delete older posts which weren't so good and use the blog as a portfolio which you can always use when trying to do some freelance writing work. If for instance, you have better than average writing skills and you start blogging, you will have 0-500 viewers in the first three months. The number might reach 1000 in six months but that's if your content is something people actually want to read. And when you see your latest post you will feel the difference. If you feel like you're attracting more viewers through your writing skills, you can always apply for freelance work online and earn a lot of money from two sources, one is the blog you made up and the other is the freelance work you actually do. And after six-twelve months of freelance writing you can actually charge a lot of money for even smaller articles you write.
Those were a couple of reasons why you should do blogging in your free time, so what will it be? Blogging or some social procrastination network such as Facebook and twitter.
